Utah
Utah at this time of the year is the best! Tourists and crowds are gone and you can enjoy monumental beauty of canyons in peace. We started our trip in Fishlake and snow covers the ground there already, then drove thru Capitol Reef National Park, stopping and hiking on the way (Capital Gorge, Hickman Bridge).Next day we crossed Lake Powell and visited Natural Bridges Monument. From there went up to Canyonlands: Pathole Point, Big Spring Canyon, Elephant Hill and the sunset at Needles Overlook was spectacular! Fallowing day we drove and hiked thru another part of Canyonlands called Island In The Sky, Dead Horse Point State Park and Arches National Park in Moab where we enjoyed another beautiful sunset . After the dark we drove to Salt lake City hitting snow storm on the way and driving 40 miles in the dark with zero visibility! Somehow we made it and next day we visted The Temple Square and admired it's beauty. Can't wait to go back there in the future!
